Speech Therapy

Helping Children Find Their Voice

At TheraSWIM, our pediatric speech therapy services support children in developing the communication skills they need to connect, learn, and thrive. Our licensed speech-language pathologist works with children and families in a supportive, engaging environment designed to build confidence and functional communication. Our speech-language pathologist works with children in both the clinic and aquatic environments, as well as co-treating with PT and OT.

What Is Pediatric Speech Therapy?

Pediatric speech therapy focuses on helping children improve their ability to communicate effectively. This may include speech sound production, language development, social communication, feeding, or alternative forms of communication. Therapy is individualized, play-based, and tailored to each child’s strengths and needs.

Who We Serve

We work with infants, toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults with special needs who may benefit from support with:

  • Speech sound delays or articulation challenges
  • Expressive and receptive language delays
  • Social communication and pragmatic language skills
  • Stuttering or fluency disorders
  • Voice or resonance concerns
  • Feeding and oral-motor difficulties
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

Our Approach

At TheraSWIM, we believe therapy should be effective, engaging, and family-centered.

  • Individualized Care: Each child receives a personalized treatment plan based on a comprehensive evaluation.
  • Play-Based & Evidence-Informed: Sessions are fun, motivating, and grounded in best practices.
  • Family Involvement: Caregivers are active partners and are provided with strategies to support progress at home.
  • Collaborative Care: We work closely with families, educators, and other therapy providers to ensure continuity and success.
