At TheraSWIM, we are proud to offer a variety of services for children with special needs of all ages and abilities. We serve children in Fort Collins, Windsor, Greeley, Loveland, and the surrounding areas. We currently offer:

• Aquatic and Clinic Physical Therapy
• Aquatic and Clinic Occupational Therapy
• Early Intervention Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy
• Speech Therapy (with option to co-treat with PT and OT)
• One-on-One Water Safety Classes & Adaptive Swim Lessons

The water is a wonderful place to improve motor skills, develop balance strategies, gain strength, recover from surgery, increase safety and impulse control, and become more confident in and out of the pool! Our therapists and instructors are trained by Swim Angelfish courses and pursue specialized training through a variety of continuing education courses to advance knowledge and skill. Our passion is fun, safety, and function through aquatics and BEYOND! 

We are especially excited to have expanded our clinic to add more treatment rooms, changing rooms, restrooms, and a large state-of-the-art sensory gym with fun new equipment to increase our clinic/land-based services!

A Summit Sensory Gym– an amazing piece of equipment that will allow our therapists to creatively work with each child on their specific needs, while having a blast!  We will have a variety of swings, a zip line, and more!

The Universal Exercise Unit (UEU) is a helpful aid designed to help children maintain an upright posture. Without the need for a therapist’s support, this system of straps and bungee cords allows kids to move freely and practice balance. Exercises done with the UEU help to improve functional skills like sitting, crawling, and walking, as well as balancing, coordination, and sensory-motor integration.
