Maren Morgan, Swim Instructor

Maren is an enthusiastic and dedicated adaptive swim instructor at TheraSwim, bringing her extensive background in aquatics and healthcare to support families in their swimming journey. Originally from Texas, Maren graduated from Texas A&M University in 2008 with a BA in Speech Communication. She has proudly called northern Colorado home for the last 16 years, where she balances her passion for swimming with her role as a devoted mother to three amazing children.

Growing up swimming year-round in Texas and competing in short course yard swimming, Maren developed a lifelong love for the water. Her early career as a lifeguard in various aquatic environments laid a strong foundation for her expertise in safety and instructional techniques. In 2017, Maren’s youngest child was born with multiple medical needs, which opened her eyes to the world of early intervention therapies and pediatric support. This transformative experience inspired her to earn her certification as a Clinical Nurse Aide in 2019, allowing her to provide compassionate in-home medical care to her child and others in the community.

Maren’s unique blend of aquatic passion and medical knowledge makes her an exceptional asset to the families at TheraSwim. Currently, she is pursuing a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Fort Hays State University, cherishing the opportunity to expand her education while giving back to her community. Maren deeply values the lessons taught by her children in perseverance, resilience, and gratitude, acknowledging that they continually inspire her in both her personal and professional life.

Having previously worked at TheraSwim in 2024 before taking a sudden medical leave, Maren returns with a heart full of gratitude and a renewed desire to connect with swimmers and their families. She looks forward to the opportunity to foster growth and learning in the water, welcoming each swimmer’s unique journey with open arms and a joyful spirit.
