Kimberly recently graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with her Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. She has a strong background in aquatics and athletic training, with years of experience as a lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor, and private swim instructor. She has worked with swimmers of all ages and abilities, including children with special needs, and loves creating a fun and supportive environment where swimmers can build skills and confidence. A lifelong athlete, Kimberly’s own experiences with sports injuries sparked her interest in athletic training and rehabilitation. She brings a patient, individualized approach to every lesson, drawing from both her personal background and academic training. Raised in Mexico and originally from Greeley, she is bilingual and values building strong, meaningful relationships with the families she works with. Kimberly has been involved in sports her whole life and is currently a member of the UNC volleyball club. When she’s not in the pool, she enjoys playing volleyball, staying active, and spending time outdoors.
