Kaila is a dedicated Occupational Therapist who graduated in December 2024 from Rocky Mountain College Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program in Billings, MT. She is passionate about using a play-based and strengths-based approach to therapy sessions. She is currently a school-based OT and is excited to join the Theraswim team for the summer! Her previous roles include Adaptive Recreation Program Staff, Adaptive Ski & Rock Climbing Volunteer, NICU volunteer, and Early Childhood Educator. She has a personal history and love of swimming which began in her grandpa’s pool and on summer breaks with her gram in the Atlantic. She grew up in California and originally moved to Colorado in 2018 to teach 2 year olds how to ski. Her favorite occupations include reading, riding her bike, playing board games, cooking, reading, snowboarding on a powder day, and picnicking at the park with her fiancé Josh.
