Originally from Michigan, Georgia graduated from Michigan State University in 2016 with a degree in Geological Sciences. This is what ultimately brought her to Colorado. More recently, in 2023, she completed a degree in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Colorado State University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at CSU, where she continues to blend her passion for health and wellness and her love for assisting others.
She has been a swim instructor for over 5 years, teaching swimmers of all ages and abilities. She especially enjoys working with kids, helping them view the water as a fun place, and seeing them grow as swimmers.
In addition to her work in the pool, she volunteers with Special Olympics and B-Bold boxing, helping individuals of all abilities engage in physical activity and build confidence. Outside of work and studies, she loves biking- both road and mountain- and enjoys spending time with her cat, Morty.
