Faith Barnes is an adaptive swim instructor with many years of swim experience. She began working in the water at the age of 15 as a lifeguard.
After 1 year of lifeguarding, Faith started a private swimming lesson business in her Kansas hometown. Faith was a full time swim instructor for 5 summers. During the school year, Faith taught at her local elementary school. Two years were spent teaching transitional kindergarten and one year spent teaching 1st grade. During her time teaching, Faith was also involved in the community’s early childhood development organization.
After leaving her tiny hometown in Kansas, and moving to colorful Colorado in 2023, Faith discovered TheraSwim.
It is such a joy for Faith to share her love for swimming with others.
In her spare time, Faith enjoys; walking her dog, yoga, hiking, coloring, embroidery, lego kits and meditating.
