Emily is a Colorado native who attended Colorado State University for her post-secondary education. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies in 2020 and her Master of Occupational Therapy degree in August of 2022. Emily has teaching and paraprofessional experience and has worked with children of all ages and abilities. She currently works in an outpatient pediatric clinic for children with sensory processing difficulties as well. Emily is especially passionate about aquatic therapy, as the pool provides children with motivating, individualized, and effective therapeutic experiences that promote success and autonomy both in and out of the water. In her free time, Emily enjoys being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her dog, Bruno.
