Coach Clare is originally from California, where she grew up swimming competitively and started coaching for her swim team when she was 16. She has been in love with coaching and working with kids ever since. In 2013, she moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, where she earned a B.S. in exercise science from Northern Arizona University. After graduating, she stayed in Flagstaff and ran a swim lesson program and competitive swim team for six years. She also worked for the local school district as a lifeguard for the special education classes and Special Olympics. Coach Clare has taught people of all ages and abilities to swim and enjoys sharing her passion for the water with others.
Clare moved to Colorado in 2023 and is excited to be working with the TheraSWIM community. When she is not teaching swim lessons, she enjoys hiking, cooking, baking, and spending time with friends.
