Chelsea is originally from Michigan, where she got her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology at Michigan State University. After graduation she moved to Colorado and received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at Colorado State University. She then moved to Nevada and practiced outpatient and school pediatric occupational therapy in Henderson and Las Vegas from 2010-2014. During that time she got married and started having children in 2015. In the fall of 2017 Chelsea and her family moved back to Colorado to be close to family and the mountains! She practiced outpatient occupational therapy from September 2017-March 2020, at which time she took time off to attend to her family and their medical needs during the COVID-19 Pandemic and also welcomed a third child. She joined Theraswim part-time in late summer 2022 while still being a full-time Mom and wife. She now has 3 wonderful children and a hard-working husband that keeps her busy! She enjoys walks, hikes, being outside, and spending time with friends and family. She loves occupational therapy in the water to utilize the inherent joy that water creates, sensory benefits, ability to use resistance in water for strengthening, buoyancy for balance, and a new way to think creatively to make therapy effective for clients and families. She especially loves working with and helping families get the most benefits from her experience in OT and as a mother and enjoys helping families to connect to resources needed to make sure her clients can live their best life!
