Dr. Becky Burtka graduated from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. She has 5 years experience in skilled nursing and has a passion for treating people with neurological conditions. Becky was fortunate enough to grow up with a pool in her backyard and spent most of her summers swimming! She loved the way the water could get her body to move in different ways and even taught a water aerobics class for her mom and her friends. Becky also spent time during her graduate schooling volunteering through SPARC on an adaptive water sports day and as a camp counselor at Camp Horizon, which offered swimming and kayaking for children with disabilities. She found these experiences so fun and is excited to bring that energy to her therapy sessions! Becky lives in Longmont with her husband Jon and their 2 cats, and she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, trivia nights and skiing!
