I am a senior at the University of Northern Colorado studying Political Science with a minor in
Legal Studies. I hope to have a career in Special Needs Advocacy Law! I have been swimming
my whole life and my first job was as a lifeguard when I was 15. I got my Red Cross Water
Safety Instructor certification when I was 16 and have been teaching swim lessons ever since!
In 2020 I worked as a paraprofessional for District 6 and worked specifically in significant
support needs. Since then, I have taught swimming lessons ranging from six month old infants
with their parents in parent/tot classes all the way through adult lessons. I love watching my
students grow in their confidence in the water and meet the goals we set together! In my free
time I love hiking, reading, crocheting, and spending time with friends and family.
